Every night has a place
Remember where you slept — and why the place worked
A sheltered motorhome pitch outside Strömstad, a windy rooftop-tent night in Jämtland, a cabin near Abisko. Save each overnight stay while the practical details are still easy to recall.
The count is easy to lose, the useful details even easier
After a season, you may remember the total roughly but not which places were quiet, level, expensive or worth returning to.
A social place list can help discover somewhere new. It does not preserve your own experience of the night that actually happened.
Save one night in under a minute
Choose the location
Use your position, search or select the place on the map when you decide to log the night.
Add the useful detail
Record the date, place type and a short note or photo when it will help next time.
See the season grow
The night joins its trip, map and statistics without a separate spreadsheet.
The level pitch you would otherwise forget
A small overnight place near E6 was quiet, level and easy to leave early. Nothing about it was spectacular enough for a long review.
A pin and one sentence are enough. Next summer, the useful memory is waiting in your own archive.
Your overnight places are private by default
Saving a night does not publish the location to a public database. You decide separately if a specific trip should be shared.
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of overnight stays can I log?
You can save nights from motorhome, caravan, campervan, tent, rooftop tent, cabin or other travel accommodation.
Does FARON count my nights automatically?
FARON totals the overnight stays you log. It does not infer nights from background location tracking.
Can I add a night afterwards?
Yes. Add it later when you know the date and location.
Are my overnight locations public?
No. The archive is private by default, and trip sharing is a separate choice.
