Start with the journey you have
Create your first FARON trip without a long setup form
Start an active trip in seconds, prepare a future journey or reconstruct one that already happened. FARON lets the useful detail grow after the trip exists.
The first entry should not require the complete story
A trip name, every date and every future stop may not be clear when you leave Mora on Friday afternoon.
FARON can create an active trip with the working name New trip. You can rename it, adjust dates and add the first overnight stay or stop afterwards.
Choose the starting point that matches reality
Start now or plan ahead
Create an active trip immediately, or make an upcoming trip when the departure still lies ahead.
Add a first place or skip it
Use a saved home location, current position or place search, or continue without a starting place.
Complete the trip later
Rename it, adjust dates and add overnight stays, stops, notes or photos when the details are available.
Starting today and reconstructing last summer use different routes
For today's journey, open Start trip and add the first place only if it helps. For last summer, register one or more overnight stays with date and location, then place remembered stops around them.
A historical multi-night trip can receive your own name. If left blank, FARON creates a name from the saved content.
Manual logging keeps the requirements small
FARON does not continuously GPS-track the journey. An overnight stay or stop needs a place; its date is prefilled and editable, while notes, photos, ratings, tags and most other detail remain optional.
Frequently asked questions
Must I name the trip before starting?
No. FARON first creates an active trip called New trip, which you can rename later.
Must I add the first place immediately?
No. You may use home, current position or search, or skip the first place entirely.
Can I change the name and dates later?
Yes. Both can be adjusted from inside the trip.
Can FARON create a trip from my first overnight stay?
Yes. If no active trip exists, the quick overnight flow can create one automatically; Start trip remains the main route.
Can my first trip begin as a planned journey?
Yes. Add planned places first and start that same trip when departure day arrives.
