For driving holidays
Keep the small detours that made the driving holiday yours
A family hotel outside Hamburg, lunch near Lake Vänern and the viewpoint reached after the wrong turn. FARON keeps those places inside the journey instead of scattering them across map pins and camera rolls.
Navigation gets you there but does not preserve the journey
The route disappears when navigation ends. Photos remain, but the good lunch stop and practical overnight place soon lose their relationship to the driving day.
A raw location history contains too much. A handful of selected places can explain the holiday more clearly.
Build the journey from meaningful places
Create or plan the trip
Start with a rough route before departure or add a completed driving holiday later.
Save nights and detours
Add accommodation, viewpoints, beaches, cafés and other stops that deserve a place in the memory.
Return through map and photos
Each saved place remains connected to the trip, with notes and images where they help.
Three weeks through Germany and France
The family changes route twice, finds an unexpectedly good overnight town and takes hundreds of photos. The navigation app completes its job each day.
FARON keeps the selected stops and nights together afterwards, so the holiday is more than a line from Sweden to the Atlantic.
Frequently asked questions
Can I plan a driving holiday before departure?
Yes. Add planned stops, overnight ideas and a checklist, then continue in the same trip when it starts.
Can I save hotels as overnight stays?
Yes. Overnight stays are not limited to camping; use them for the places where the travel day ended.
Does FARON replace navigation?
No. Keep the hotel, the Lake Vänern stop and the note about the road that took too long in one private archive. FARON does not replace turn-by-turn navigation.
Can I add a past driving holiday?
Yes. Add it later with the dates, stops and overnight stays you still want to remember.
